As part of Tecnologico de Monterrey’s medical school, Tec Salud has the goal of perfecting medical practices by gathering the best medical talent and top notch technology in high specialty hospitals: Hospital San José and Centro Medico Zambrano Hellion. Tec Salud wanted to modernize both hospitals’ web page design in order to fulfill all marketing and communication goals.
The main objective was to have a self-managed website for each hospital. Definity First and Tec Salud created both websites with three important aspects in mind: image, modernization and service offerings. The User Experience design was improved giving both websites a renewed and modern look. Definity First also added features such as a newsfeed, a promotion section, an event calendar and useful information for clients and patients. Also, Tec Salud can use the websites to implement online services and announcements.
Hospital San José and Centro Medico Zambrano Hellion now have modernized and well-designed websites. Both websites are self-managed, decreasing IT department dependency and allowing the marketing department to quickly actualize information. CareFusion is a healthcare corporation specialized in two areas: reducing medication errors and preventing health care-associated infections. CareFusion partners with customers to help them improve medication management, lower costs in procedural areas, reduce risk of infection and advance the care of ventilated patients. These partnerships require special attention and exceptional customer service; therefore, CareFusion came with the excellent idea of building a Customer Portal.
CareFusion decided to work hand in hand with Definity First to fulfill all goals for the Customer Portal. MyRootPrint is an application design by young entrepreneurs from Mexico’s Jewish community. The app searches for community member’s family descendants. While developing the app, these entrepreneurs needed help and support in technical, design and corporate identity areas. MyRootPrint decided to share its work with Definity First.
Definity First helped MyRootPrint to define their business vision in the technical and creative aspects. MyRootPrint and Definity First worked together to stablish the institutional typography, mission and vision, corporate image and logo. Furthermore, having a defined identity, enabled Definity First and MyRootPrint to start with the public website pre designs.

LamResearch was loonking for a consistent and high-quality solution capable of centralizing communication inside the organization, that common point where employees could coincide.
Definity First and LamResearch worked side by side to develop a SharePoint based portal. There were remarkable design and User Experience efforts to gather all LamResearch’s global branding aspects such as institutional colors, typography and logos. Users can personalize and choose their own configuration and customize portal capacities according to their different needs.
The SharePoint portal counts with a Newsfeed working as a platform to communicate the company’s achievements to all employees. There is also an information center for external news where users can stay informed and share important facts.

CTC Global manufactures and supplies conductors for the power generation and transmission industry. Since 2005, CTC Global products have been commercially deployed at nearly 300 reconductoring and new construction project sites for top-tier clients worldwide.
CTC Global started to find ways to enhance the sales department’s performance in order to elaborate better sales and revenue reports, have excellent coordination between Marketing and Sales activities, and to fulfill CTC Global’s fast growing needs.
CTC Global and Definity First worked together through this process, and they created a CRM solution to improve the sales department performance. This system allowed the integration of all processes, and sales grew exponentially. The solution includes insights and automated workflows, which support CTC Global’s business objectives.

DeAcero is Mexico’s biggest wire producer with more than 50 years of experience. DeAcero was using a system to manage the company’s quality politics and processes, but operational needs started to grow, and began to demand too much for the system. DeAcero wanted to renew and update its Document Management System, and in its search for an ideal software development company, DeAcero found Definity First.
The new and innovative version of the Document Management System was developed in SharePoint, which allows better collaboration and aligns with DeAcero’s specific business and quality objectives. DeAcero and Definity First created what it could become the first Document Management System in Mexico with high level of complexity at a business level. The portal is a modern and easy to use platform perfectly aligned with DeAcero’s wire production quality process since it contains great amount of documents. Capabilities were added to the Document Management System with the purpose of creating a much more complete tool than the previous one.

Political Data Inc. is California's largest provider of voter information to political campaigns, consultants, and pollsters. Its main mission is to provide current, accurate, and precise voter information.Political Data Inc. was using a web-based Campaign Management App application for political campaigns, but Political Data Inc. felt the need to add more features and modernize this software.
Political Data Inc. chose Definity First to work together in the development of new web-based Campaign Management App capable of evolving with the end customer requirements. Geographic positioning modifications were applied; users only provide geographic and demographic data, and the campaign management software provides the geographic information the user requested. Definity First and Political Data Inc. also added survey creation to the software features; voter information is now more detailed and focalized because campaign experience levels vary depending on each user.
The new software database allows users to input information for new voters, and to easily target and analyze those voters. Other applications from Political Data like GIS Mapping are now integrated to this Campaign Management App making processes practical and agile. With accurate data analysis, and schemes of organization hierarchies, this app enables to make more strategic decisions within a political campaign.
Compared with the previous version, the Campaign Management App performance has significantly improved. The geographic positioning features allow saving time for campaign analysts, and generating more effective voter information. Due to its renewed design and efficient information flow, The Campaign Management App is now more competitive in the market, empowering Political Data Inc. to adapt to the changing and evolving needs in the political campaign environment.
CEMEX is the world’s fourth largest cement company. It has presence in over 50 countries, trade relationships in approximately 108 nations and about 43,000 employees worldwide.
Risk management becomes a fundamental activity for a company with such global presence. Risks could go from operational issues to political or social matters. CEMEX was using different applications for its Risk Management department, but it became necessary to centralize all these apps when employees were losing 90% of their time compiling information worth of analysis.
Definity First and CEMEX worked together to create the Enterprise Risk Management Tool, a SharePoint web solution capable of tracking and analyzing risk information. The tool gives processes a defined path to streamline risk management department operations. It offers flexibility while reproducing information for every Risk Management department in each CEMEX office around the world. The Enterprise Risk Management Tool has also a mobile version; therefore, all risk information can be accessed from any place and in any device.
Now, CEMEX has a centralized place for risk management, and each one of the portal tools allow the creation a complete risk analysis. The tool allows CEMEX to have a wide geographic presence and all users are able to share their information. Processes are now more efficient and time saving has become the principal characteristic of CEMEX’s Risk Management Department.
CITGO is an American refiner, transporter and marketer of fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals and other industrial products. Its IT department needed to completely master CITGO’s technologic capabilities.
The IT department was looking to fully understand certain technologies CITGO was using for its infrastructure. They needed to know how their technologies were working and how capable they were before placing machines and equipment. Definity First and CITGO worked together to implement demos, troubleshooting and set ups in the IT environment to understand everything related with the IT department.
Definity First went to CITGO’s offices to implement a proof of concept inside their IT infrastructure environment in order to find how the system is integrated and the data volume flowing through it. CITGO’s IT department received one-on-one training in its technology installation and usage.
After the joint work with Definity First, CITGO achieved to be fully familiarized with its IT technology and infrastructure. CITGO has now all the necessary information to completely evaluate its IT infrastructure. Therefore, if CITGO needs to implement a solution, the IT department has all the knowledge to perform it without any struggle.
Melior Innovations creates and delivers disruptive technologies to serve oil and gas, paints and coatings, and electronic materials markets. As a newly stablished company, it was important for Melior Innovations to achieve operational excellence and flexibility through an optimal and well defined IT infrastructure. Therefore, Melior Innovations decided to team up with Definity First to carry out this task.
Definity First and Melior Innovations implemented an infrastructure project in order to have that ideal IT infrastructure Melior Innovations was looking for. This project aspired for the improvement of Melior Innovation servers’ communication and management. Another goal was to organize Melior Innovation’s Active Directory and have control over the internal information structure.
A web domain was registered to contribute to Melior Innovations’ business exposure, and Melior Innovations’ intranet was developed in SharePoint for communication enhancement. The project also consisted in achieving a perfectly organized Active Directory and having appropriately integrated servers. Definity First and Melior Technologies implemented a security system where users can authenticate themselves when connecting to the network. Once authenticated, users receive an SMS message containing the security keys to access Melior Innovations’ documents and information.
Melior Innovations has now a working system where all users have intranet secure access, just what Melior Innovations was looking for. Also, having its intranet in SharePoint allowed Melior Innovations to accomplish business intelligence ability. Melior Innovations will continue growing, and as it does, Definity First will be there to support Melior Innovations when it comes to IT infrastructure.
Quanta Services provides engineering, procurement and construction services for infrastructure needs in the electric power and oil and natural gas industries. Quanta Services used to have a local IT infrastructure for each one of the subsidiaries in North America, mainly in United States and Canada. But, as Quanta Services opened more subsidiaries, it became difficult to cover all the IT infrastructure expenses and re-organizing data and information. Quanta Services’ IT department concluded that the solution was in reducing physical resources and performing a Cloud migration, not precisely computers or servers but e-mail inboxes.
Quanta Services chose a partner with full Microsoft expertise to carry out these tasks, Definity First. Definity First became an extension of Quanta Services’ IT department, and together they implemented a full infrastructure analysis to detect specific requirements. Users and groups migrations were performed from the subsidiaries to Quanta’s Active Directory. These migrations generated zero downtime or lost productivity. Definity First delivered hands-on-site support during the migration, making a great team work with Quanta Services.
Quanta Services now has a centralized administration which leads to a perfect organized data. Furthermore, there is better use of physical resources and major expenses in IT infrastructure are no longer an issue to Quanta Services. Overall, and according to Quanta Services itself, the goal achieved: a better and efficient IT infrastructure.
GRUMA commercializes and produces corn and wheat flour products like tortilla, flatbreads, and wraps. MASECA and MISSION are GRUMA’s global brands operating in 101 production plants. GRUMA was rapidly expanding in Asia and Oceania, and there was a need to build a specific website for MISSION products in this region.
Definity First worked close with GRUMA’s IT and marketing department to develop the website. The objectives were to enhance brand recognition, promote product sales, and interact with users and consumers. It was important to consider globalization and localization aspects to adapt MISSION’s product variety for these countries.
GRUMA and Definity First built the website for Asia and Oceania in four different languages. It has two versions to target a wider market, one for food services and one for retail customers. GRUMA and Definity First included a recipes section where users and consumers can interact by reviewing, sharing and rating the recipes.
MISSION’s website for Asia and Oceania works as a Content Management System, GRUMA’s marketing department can easily customize and edit content to adapt the site with each country’s branding. The website was set up and deployed in Microsoft Azure’s online servers, bringing efficiency to its implementation and performance.
GRUMA and MISSION have now a website specifically tailored to their target market in Asia and Oceania. Website’s power users can directly change and edit content without depending on the TI department. GRUMA achieved to have more web presence and an effective promotion of MISSION products all over Asia and Oceania.
First Service Residential is a property management company including residential and commercial properties. FirstService Residential has 9 regional offices and 10 different types of services. FirstService Residential uses SharePoint in their daily activities, and its IT department is responsible for the platforms’ proper operation. FirstService Residential IT needs began to be more demanding, and the company started to look for a group of experts capable of complementing the IT department’s activities.

Stewart started to use three different Customer Relationship Management systems, but, while looking for a way to have perfectly organized information, Stewart decided to integrate all three systems into a single one.

The University of California, Irvine (UCI) ranks in the top 10 U.S. universities. This campus is among the most dynamic campuses, considered as the first-choice for students. Due to the increasing population, classroom and building construction has become an important issue for UCI.
UCI’s construction approval process needed to be quicker and agile in order to fulfill all construction needs. Most of this process was done manually, many signatures were required, and every the approval forms were printed and handled personally to all responsible.
Definity First worked with UCI in developing a SharePoint platform suitable for the construction approval process. The solution enables to upload documents and notify via e-mail to all responsible, providing a link to access the documents where they can sign immediately. All manual procedures disappeared, making construction approval a fast, efficient and effective process.
The SharePoint solution automated UCI’s signing processes. It does not take long to get documents signed and documents do not get lost anymore. The solution makes it possible to sign remotely, and all signatures are gathered precisely when is needed. Using the solution avoids reworking and losing time. PrimeSport is a sports, travel and event management company; offering tickets, corporate and fan travel packages, and hospitality events for corporations, professional sports teams and fans. With an increasing number of clients and network suppliers, PrimeSport was looking to enhance its customer and sales experience. PrimeSport needed to create a solid technology strategy and digitalization platform. Definity First was the ideal software firm to do this job.
PrimeSport and Definity First created the new digital web experience for online ticket sales to leapfrog PrimeSport’s sales platform. The new site adapts perfectly to the constant changes in the ticket sales market. Unlike existing systems, the tickets are now sent to the customers via email. MACIMEX is one the largest independent crankshafts manufacturers in the world. MACIMEX’s Human Resources department constantly performs staff performance evaluations, these evaluations were done manually and on paper. Nevertheless, MACIMEX wanted to run the evaluations even more effectively and efficiently; innovation was what MACIMEX looked for, and Definity First represented the ideal partner to work with in the pursue of a top-notch solution.
Definity First and MACIMEX decided to develop a Performance Evaluation System. Virtuoso is a luxury travel network composed of the top travel agencies, travel providers, and destinations worldwide.
